Getting Started with KAPlayer

About KAPlayer

KAPlayer is a premium media player supporting M3U/M3U8 playlists. Enjoy a 7-day free trial upon installation.

Setup Guide

  1. Installation: Download from your device's app store
  2. Launch: App auto-activates 7-day trial (note your MAC ID & Device Key)
  3. Add M3U/M3U8 Playlist:
    • Visit kaplayer.com → "Manage Playlist"
    • Enter MAC ID & Device Key
    • Add M3U/M3U8 URL (must start with http://)
    • Restart app to access your content
Important: Only use working and trusted M3U/M3U8 playlists. You can purchase M3U/M3U8 playlists from any reputable M3U/M3U8 Playlist provider.

License Activation

After trial, visit kaplayer.com → "Activate License" → Enter credentials (MAC ID and Device Key) → Complete purchase.

Troubleshooting

App Stuck on Loading Page

Possible Causes:

  • M3U/M3U8 Playlist errors
  • Internet connection issues
  • ISP blocking

Solution:

  1. Restart app 2-3 times
  2. If persists: Remove current M3U/M3U8 playlist at kaplayer.com, restart app, check demo playlist, contact provider or check internet/ISP.

Switching MAC ID

  1. Login with old MAC ID at Switch MAC ID
  2. Navigate to "Switch MAC ID"
  3. Add new MAC ID and confirm

Resetting M3U/M3U8 Playlist

  1. Visit activation.kaplayer.com
  2. Select "Reset" → "App"
  3. Enter MAC ID & Device Key
  4. Add new working M3U/M3U8 playlist after reset
Note: Resetting Playlist will remove all existing playlists on your device. Add your working M3U/M3U8 playlist to continue.

Why Is My M3U/M3U8 Playlist Channel Freezing?

This is typically not an app issue. Common causes:

Internet Connection

Slow or unstable internet can cause buffering. Ensure sufficient speed and stability.

Server Stability

Contact your M3U/M3U8 Playlist Service provider for stability issues.

Device Performance

Close background apps and restart your device.
